The Las Vegas Raiders are working to hire former Los Angeles Chargers general manager Tom Telesco, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Tuesday.
Telesco, 51, was the Chargers GM from 2013-23. He was fired after a 63-21 loss to the Raiders in December.
Now, it’s possible Telesco could stay in AFC West. With Las Vegas, he will potentially fill Dave Ziegler’s role, who was fired alongside coach Josh McDaniels, on Nov. 1. Champ Kelly had been in the role on an interim basis since that time.
This update comes one day after Los Angeles announced they interviewed Telesco for a second time on Monday.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, citing “league sources.”
